§ 6.2.4. Forecourt

  • An open area at grade, or within 30 inches of grade, that serves as an open space, plaza or outdoor dining area.

    A.

    A forecourt must be no more than one-third of the length of the building face, and in no case longer than 35 feet in width or depth.

    B.

    A maximum of one forecourt is permitted to count towards the minimum build-to requirements per lot. A forecourt not used to meet the minimum build-to requirement is not regulated as to width or depth.

    C.

    No foundation planting is required in the forecourt area.
